      Today we're going to talk about practical data solutions for USB Device Not Recognized. Now have you ever had this dreaded air when you plug in any type of USB device into your PC or laptop the USB Device  Not Recognized? Now this happens to all of us and this goes from just a standard flash drive to a USB hard drive, to an SSD to really anything that you plug in that is USB driven. So today I'm going to show you a few different ways that you can recover from that USB Device Not Recognize air all on your own. So let's start with the obvious question why the USB Device Not Recognized is.

Reason of USB Device Not Recognized.

       :-The USB drivers become corrupt or unstable.

       :-Windows may be missing important updates for hardware or software.

       :- The USB controllers may become unstable or corrupt.

       :- The USB Drive may be entering that selective suspend mode.

       :- The PCs motherboard just may need updated drivers.

      Those may sound scary to you but I'm going to walk you through some simple steps and you're going to get your USB device recognized in no time.

USB Device Not Recognized Solution.

1.       Use a hardware and device Troubleshooter:- Open the control panel, Press window + S and type control panel and click OK, select troubleshoot on the control panel and click hardware and sound, select hardware and devices and click Next. It will detect, if there any problems more than likely it will recognize and try to fix USB device problems automatically. After a while click on apply this fix and try to see whether the issue is getting fixed or not.

2.        Uninstall and then reconnect the USB device:-  Follow these steps to do this. First open device manager, press Windows + s and type device manager, select disk drives from the list of Hardware, right click on the external USB Drive that has the USB Device Not Recognized issue, select uninstall. After uninstalled, unplug the USB, wait a while then reconnect the USB device. Check to see if the USB Drive is loaded in Windows Explorer.

3.       Update the USB device drivers:- Right click on the windows logo and click the device manager to open device manager, target to universal serial bus controllers and double click on it. It will display a list of USB controllers, right click each of them and select update driver, select search automatically for updated driver’s software on the window and allow this process to run. After that you will get the notice that best drivers for your device are already installed and then check if your issue is fixed or not.

4.       Reinstall USB controllers:-  Open device manager, double-click on Universal Serial bus controllers and right click on the USB drivers and click uninstall. Do this for all the drivers one by one. After that restart your PC then the USB drives are automatically reinstalled.

5.       Fixing USB root hub:- Open the device manager and double-click Universal Serial bus controllers option, right click on the USB root hub and select properties. Click power management tab and uncheck allow the computer to turn off this device to save power option then click OK to save your changes.

6.        Disable us be selective suspend settings:- First open up control panel, find and select power options next to your currently selected plan, select change plan settings, select change advanced power settings, band USB settings and double-click on USB selectively suspend settings. Select the drop down menu of plug-in or battery and then select disable and click OK. This way prevents your USB Drive from powering down.
